The new “Waalbrücke A50” close to Ewijk/Valburg in Netherlands is a stay cable bridge with a length of approximately 1.055m consisting of prestressed concrete. The bridge was constructed by using a combination of incremental launching method and cantilever method. Mooser pneumatic formwork vibrators were used for the concrete compaction of all inclined walls of this hollow box girder bridge in order to guarantee an excellent concrete compaction despite a great amount of reinforcement.  The pneumatic external vibrators were respectively mounted at the side of the tendons onto the inclined Peri GT24 formwork walls. Thanks to the pneumatic external vibrators the important concrete cover of the tendons as well as an excellent concrete surface could be achieved. During the further construction works, the formwork vibrators were also used for the concrete compaction of the pylon heads of the bridge, especially at the bonding area of the tendons. The vibrators with STA mounting clamp could also be used onto the solid wood girders of the pylon formwork simply by removing the formwork specific GT24 adaptors.
