description:
The Unstruttalbridge is the second largest railway bridge of the new ICE highspeed railway line between Erfurt and Leipzig. It is constructed with the help of a frame which contains a sub-structure for the prestressed concrete box girder. The inclined outer walls of the box girder had been totally equipped with Mooser formwork vibrators. The normal wall thicknesses were about 60m, near the clamping points up to 160cm. The total length of the sub-structure, approx. 72m, was equipped with vibrators. The vibrators were mounted onto plates that had been welded directly to the steel skin of the formwork. Special attention had to be paid to the compaction in the transition zone between floor to wall and die compaction near the clamping points. The DB specified SB3 fair faced conrete as concrete consistency for the track superstructure.
